There are various measures in place to block "spam" marketing threads, but occaisionally some still get through.
A big thanks to those who have reported spam threads.
If you have wondered what happens to those reports, moderators review the thread and then (typically) use Spam-O-Matic to handle the problem. More or less, a one-button approach that removes all posts that user has made, deletes their Beesource account, and reports the email and IP address used to central spam registries.

And if you aren't sure how to report spam, look for the black triangle button with the ! (exclamation point) in the middle of the triangle, located at the bottom left of each message box.
