    Default Queens

I have 10 queens arriving on Friday that I can't postpone.

With the crappy weather we have had in the north east, New York, the colonies are not ready to split.

What's the best way to keep them for a week or two?

Or should I just do a bunch of really week splits, not my preference though.

I'm running all topbar hives, so I just make up a queenless nuc and park them in there in my holder bar. Very well cared for. Others with Langs and queen excluders will put them up in a top box

    Excellent idea, that should work!

I should only need a week, two at the most.
