    That’s as pretty as a picture! That could a cover photo for a beekeeping magazine.

    Are the trees grafted onto a dwarfing rootstock?

    The photo was taken by a friend in the fields of a region to the south in my country, called Alentejo. The almond orchards are a recent crop in that region due to the recent construction of irrigation canals. Previously it was dryland / cereal fields. Knisely I have no idea what grafting techniques are used.
