    Default Greetings from Long Island

Goin on my second year of beekeeping and lost both my hives this season. Luckily a split I made for my father last season prospered and is currently packed with bees after this brutal winter and I should be able to do a spring split. Also ordered a couple packages to fill my empty hives. I learned a huge lesson on swarming last year. Got into beekeeping after listening to the Joe Rogan podcast. He had James Hetfield from Metallica on and he was discussing his bees and I instantly became interested.

Good luck on your split Jayfer. We lost a few hives due to the brutal winter. Good to hear your father's split survived!
