Part 11 is up...who'da thunk I'd be 11 parts in and still have so much work to do? Eeesh...

This video mostly concentrates on my construction of a firewood shed, but in the first part I'm planing buckwheat seed for my bees.

Thanks, rwurster. It's hard to find a wood floor that doesn't clash with wood walls. This was the least offensive option, LOL.

    1. Where's your help?
    2. That looks like a long walk on a cold nite to bring in fire wood.....

    1. You can see my wife briefly holding up one of the fascia boards while I attached it. Other than that, you're right...it was 99.9% a solo endeavor. I'm the worst at asking people for help.

    2. The way we do it with the woodshed at our current house is to haul enough wood to fill a fire ring that sits outside the front door. That gives us a few days' worth of wood that we have right outside the door before we need to haul more wood up. It also keeps the critters that like to live in woodsheds away from the house.

    3. Thanks!

The wood floor looks fantastic. They did a real nice job even with the trim too. Very nice wood shed. You gave me some great ideas and insights on building one of my own. The place looks great! I can imagine how much you and the wife must be looking forward to enjoying it.

Thanks, Live Oak. Over the last few days, I've got the cabinets and vanities in too...waiting now for the countertops to be cut, and then the plumber and electrician can do their finish work and the house will be habitable.

If you're thinking about building a woodshed, here's another video of the woodshed I build at our current house about 3 years ago. The shed I just built in the last couple weeks was inspired by my original woodshed, which is still the nicest thing I've ever made with my own two hands. On the old build video, you can see how I use blocks hold boards in place without needing help from another person.

Is there land available in the UAE for projects like this?

Very nice! I think I like this wood shed better.

Installment 12 of my cabin build. At this point I just need to do some hardscaping, some build a garage, and get our stuff moved in.
