    Default Bleach to syrup ratio

For those that add bleach to their 2:1 syrup to keep from spoiling, how much do you add per gallon?

Don't think 2:1 syrup needs bleach. I have used it one year later and still was in good shape.

I would be more comfortable using apple cider vinegar. Does the same thing and it has an added bonus.....its not bleach.

I use maybe a tablespoon worth to 5 gallons so I would say try a teaspoon.

One cup = 48 teaspoons so one teaspoon per gallon should be fine.
