Default New Queens and Mite Treatment

I was considering doing some re-queening now that I have harvested my supers. It is also the time of year that I may treat with Mite Away strips. Since various mite treatments may kill the queens and other bees is it best to wait until the treatment is before installing new queens. Seems logical.

Risky at best requeening with MAQS in the hive. Some other treatments such as Apivar strips are compatable with requeening.
