Oldtimer started a thread earlier: https://www.beesource.com/forums/show...-Photo-hosting

He found a good solution: Postimage. www.postimg.org

I suspect photobucket has signed their own death warrant. Those pop up ads had gotten so bad on their site that it was a pain to use it anyway.

Not only that but some of those pop ups were being flagged as dangerous by my anti malware, I was thinking of moving on anyway.

Yes they deserve money, but dumping a 400 buck a year charge on folks when they know some people have stuff out there they will be forced to maintain is blackmail really.

I'm not paying them 400 a year, which means none of the pics i've posted on beesource over the years are going to display now. But I've switched to Postimage for new pics, and found it not only free, but a much nicer site to use.

Yes, me too OldTimer, I've been using Postimage.org for close to a year now, works well for me.

Pay $60 a year for your own website with plenty of storage so you can maintain pics at your discretion. That takes all of image storage hassles away.

I have gone to Photobucket a couple of times now to retrieve my photos.
There is a "download" process that I cannot get to work.
Have any of you been able to pull your photo's off of Photobucket?
    If so, how?
I have exactly ONE more hive than you.
That makes my opinion beyond dispute!

Here is an image I retrieved from my Photobucket account and then posted it to Postimg.org ...

I logged into my Photobucket account.
    Clicked "Library"
    Clicked on this photo.
Then "right-click" and choose "Save As" and save to my local PC.
Upload to Postimg.org as per usual ...

I did not try other images in my Library, but I am not aware of a reason why I couldn't do the others. It wouldn't surprise me that the resolution of the downloaded photo is less than the original resolution at the initial Photobucket upload, but I have not confirmed that.

UPDATE: Here is another one - this one I did not choose the Postimg "Thumbnail" option and this is displayed here "full size" as retrieved from Photobucket.

Hi Harry I did the same as Rader, but took several sessions to get all my pics. Couple times it appeared not to be working but it was just that photobucket was sooo slooow that the process seems to have timed out and failed. But persist, and hopefully it will eventually happen.
