    Default Picked up Maxant 3100P

Picked up a 3100P for $450 yesterday off Craigslist! Pretty small operation right now, was looking into a cheap 2-4 frame hand crank until this popped up, couldn't pass up that kind of a deal!

Any who, just wanted to share my excitement

Price sounds like the hand crank version. Someone probably messed up when they looked at current prices.

Very good purchase. I Think I paid $900-$1,000 for mine new. I love it and would have paid more.

Just bought a Maxant honey bottler. Can't wait to try it out.

    Nice find!
I getting ready to buy the motor for my 3100H, and the cost of the motor isn't a whole lot cheaper than your setup.

Actually his ad even made mention new it was worth $850. Guy is living in a $1.4 Million dollar house in a gated community, and had multiple classic cars in his garage including a 64' Corvette. I think he just wanted a quick sale

I have been using the powered model for 3 years. I love it. Was planning to buy the crank one, but when I went to pick it up the dealer had assembled the electric one. He said take it home and harvest, if you do not want it bring it back for full refund. I still have it. Runs all day, easy to clean and easy to move around.

I just got the 3100h and wondered how people hold it to the ground when extracting to stop it moving around when spinning? Looking for ideas!!
