    Default Beek wisdom

    I've decided to start compiling advice that transcends the beekeeping boundary and is wise advice for life in general. I hope this is the right place. Here's the first...

    Don't cheap out and try to get away with not having an electric fence around your hives.

    I think you missed the point gtwarren. That advice is really only applicable to beekeeping...lol

    gtwarren1966 -- just change "hives" to "girls" and it will have general application to life.

    Michael Palmer wrote this in a thread a while back....I have had a couple "good" winters with relatively low loss, I keep this saying in the back of my mind!
