    Default Mini nuc feeders

Hello I'm building some four way medium mini nucs and some single minis of the same size and I'm looking for ideas for inside feeders. Any ideas would be appreciated. Trying to get away from top feeders

I remember reading somewhere about someone using empty spam cans (or another similar size can) and then balling up some chicken wire and pushing that into the can to discourage the bees from building comb in there.

Lauri posted about feeders she made for her mini nucs. She used vacuum bags. The bags you use when you put up food to remove air from the bag. It looked like a great way to make feeders. Maybe she'll chime in here, if not lookup her posts. It was earlier this year.

I used the Innerview inner cover. If I use a mason jar I place an empty box on top before the cover. If I am using a 2 frame trough feeder I place it under the pvc so I can easily refill. This way I never break the propolis seal unless I need toIMG_1831.jpg
