    How old and tall do linden trees have to be before they flower?

    I generally expect them to bloom in 4 or 5 years. Some will bloom a little sooner but, the trees need to get some size on them to have enough blooms to be found by the bees

    Tulip Poplar, Southern Catalpa, Glossy Abelia, Golden Rain Tree, Sourwood, Summersweet, Seven Sons Tree, Vitex, Deciduous Hollies, All of these will work in zone 9. Sandy soil will require a little more attention to watering.
