    Default New from Tx.

Hello, I am a new beekeeper from N TX. I bought 4 hives about 4 months ago. they seem to be doing well. I checked them yesterday, all supers are full of honey Last month I thought they were swarming, ( "neighbor" told me), did a split, didnt see a queen, BUT they are doing great!!
I will be asking a lot of questions, thank you in advance

Welcome to Beesource. Texas is in AHB territory. Got to be interesting to say the least keeping bees there. I have had Texas bees in the past. They were not on many peoples Christmas card list. VERY PRODUCTIVE bees though. Nobody messed with them at all.
