Default Where to place frames full of bees into new hive?

This is probably a simple question but need to make sure I'm correct.

Today I replaced one if my old broken hives with a brand new hive. The new hive has 10 frames. The old hive had 3.

Looking at the front of the bee hive I took out 3 empty frames on the RIGHT. I replaced these frames with 3 frames full of bees with a queen.

    Is this correct?

    Should I have placed 1 full / 1 empty frame / 1 Full/ 1 Empty / 1 full and then the other 7 empty frames?

Will the bees just fill up the frames as they run out of space.

    Any advise will be welcome.

Apis cerana (Asian bee) is what I have. Also a mix of Italian and apis cerana.

    Thank you

What is the reason for placing in the centre of the hive? is there a reason?

    Thank you

Starting with the frames in the middle will allow the colony to expand to both sides, instead of just expanding on the one side.

Also, the far side of the edge frame is the least desirable spot in the hive, and if given a choice the bees will draw comb up into a other box before they use those outboard sides. I would avoid forcing them to use that spot at the moment.
