Lured 3 swarms in 5 days!

Much to my surprise, I had three different swarms land in my front yard this week! I stack empty equipment sometimes with old comb in it around the edges of my yard and every year it draws swarms, but I've never gotten 3 in one week!

I decided to write up a blog post on luring swarms and why I think I have had so much success.

Two landed in traps in one day or you went out and caught two?

I wonder where they came from

Those two came from my hives. Saw them swarm and as soon as they clustered I hived them. One was about 11 AM and the next one about 2 pm. They landed about 10 feet apart in different trees, about 8 ft off the ground. I actually thought the second swarm was the first one absconding until I looked at the first swarm's hive and it wasn't reswarming.

Nice catch! These three came from I don't know where because I don't keep active hives at my house, just equipment.
