    Default feeders

I hope this is the appropriate place for this posting.

I use medium 1/2 half frames in my baby nucs. I seen a video (628 Dirt rooster) where he had superframe or inframe feeders that fit the 1/2 medium babynuc. I ask him where he got them. He replied that someone had given them to him and that he did not know where they could be purchased. I have searched the main supplier catalogs with no success. my question is, does anyone know where these can be found?

My next step, if the in frame feeder is not available commercially, is to make a top feeder like the ones Don Kuchenmeister designed and uses with the pan and "Miller" type delivery system.

I would appreciate any information about these inframe feeders.

    Thanx, LP

    FYI:
Try cutting down to your frame size a heavy duty plastic bag, insert your frame, place 3 or 3 rubber bands onto the frame and plastic bag, place in your Mini nuc and do a test filling with water.
    Regards,
    Ernie

Thanx Ernie! That is a great idea. As soon as I get out to the bee lab I will put one together and try it. I appreciate your sharing this with me and the others watching!!! LP
