Knock on wood Barry, I think you may have things taken care of. I accessed the home page with IE, Chrome and Firefox with no issues. Nice job on your part.

Btw, I keep some old rusty hive tools in the barn in case you ever catch up with the bad guys...

I just did a visual scan of all the javascript files in vBulletin and they are clean! Now I'm feeling very optimistic the malware has been rooted out. I was fearing the nuclear option was going to have to be employed by shutting the site down for a day and doing a clean install of both WordPress and vBulletin in a new directory. Probably would have been a weeks worth of work to get it completely back to where it is now, with all the modifications involved.

If you happen to get a warning now, the warning is probably coming from information in a Google database with a dated scan of the site. I believe from the warning there is a link to get Google to rescan and update their database.

Having been through this on a much smaller scale I can appreciate all the effort and frustration that went in to getting this cleared up. Thanks for all your work and efforts! We all appreciate it.

I've requested a review of the site by Google to remove the malware warnings.

Ugh. Norton (Symantec) security software is now flagging beesource.com as a "Dangerous Website" and blocking it. The report noted 2 viruses (unspecified) and 2 instances of sale of counterfeit goods (?).

Barry: In case it's helpful to you, the clickthrough on "Do you own this site?" goes to: https://safeweb.norton.com/help/site_owners - maybe you can trigger Norton to do a re-scan of the site and take it off their "naughty" list.

I joined the Norton site and asked for a re-scan. This is getting old.

My opinion of Norton is summed up in this sentence: "Please do yourself a favor and do not install anything "Norton" ever again. From my experience it causes more problems than most viruses."

I will not give anymore of my time to any issues with this site Norton is alerting their subscribers to. Norton is not to be trusted. That's all I have to say!
