    I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. These trees were all free climbed, no gaffs/spikes.

    Caught my First Swarm this year April 8 2016, It was a cold windy day, From a nuc that had overwintered. They are now working on drawing out their honey super. Used lemongrass oil and a deep box to catch them.

    Witnessed my first swarm early this AM. Was in the top of a huge oak tree with zero chance of retrieving. Don't think it was from any of my hives since they were screened shut as a result of intense robbing yesterday, but who knows as I'm a first year keeper.

    Guess I know where I'll move my swarm traps to now - top of that oak!

    Independence Day swarm at the top of an oak tree. Don't know if its mine or someone else's. Seems out of season though.

    Picked up a 4 lbs swarm in Lenoir,28645 They said it had been there for two days and it was very windy with the temps dropping.
