Went out to nab a swarm in S Ft Collins Last Tuesday, but it had left by the time I got there. Was in a fir tree, they said it was basketball size

One of my hives swarmed yesterday and I was able to catch it. Probably about a gallon of bees

Captured two separate swarms in one fir tree this morning. One was 2lbs the second was 3lbs.
They were 3 ft and 4ft off the ground within two feet of eachother and had been there for at least 16 hrs. They came from a neighbors top bar hive. The neighbor was happy to have us get them.

A co-worker IM'd me at work and told me a friend of hers was looking for someone to "get a bunch of bees out of her yard". I don't have a place to put another hive, so gave my co-worker the Colorado Beekeepers Swarm Hotline website URL and advised her to tell her friend NOT to spray the bees. Haven't heard yet whether the swarm has been rehomed.

Caught a large swarm in a aspen tree yesterday. It looked to be 5-6lbs. They were 5 clusters. Shook each branch into the hive and the rest marched right in.

Also my neighbors hive swarmed for the second time this month early this morning. They were gone when I arrived.

Got a large swarm last night. It was 3ft in length and 1ft in diameter so I think it was 7+lbs.

I hived it and this morning found them moving into a smaller hive in my apiary (usurpation.)

Hi, not sure if this is the right place to post, but I'm in Denver and am looking to sell a Maxant 3100P (and the leg kit) bought in 2017 and used for one honey harvest. I paid $850 and am asking $650 cash. Thanks!
