Goldenrod started opening up on Saturday August 5th. There is a smaller amount of sweet while clover left yet but I don't think it will last too much longer, most of it looks like its drying up. Black-eyed susans are in full bloom all over and there seems to be a ton of them this year.

Hey, Wisconsin folk, should we get together and try for a better blooming record for the season 2019?
I was not able to find a good phenological calendar for WI.
Heck, we can just build one.

I marked April 3rd as a start of Maple bloom in Dane County.
Well, that lasted for about 5 days of some use.
Back to winter now - blizzard/rain/freezing/wind.
I guess the rest of the Maple bloom is largely done and wasted this year (as about normal).

I wish maples have not started blooming yet.
    But they have started.
And now after 5 days non-stop winter-like weather (concluding with a pretty hard freeze of about 25F tonight) - I am not even sure if much of usable maple bloom left in the South Central WI.
Lots of the bloom is just laying on the ground - knocked down by ice/rain/wind.
