    Soft(red) Maples. Full development. Swamps look red from a distance. Most hives have close to frame of bright yellow pollen, nectar flow also.

    5/6/12 Hawthorne, Choke Cherry, Buttercup (Ranunculus Sp.), Sweet William (Phlox), Wake Robin Trillium, Wild Strawberry, Tartarian Honeysuckle, Creeping Charlie (Glechoma hederacea), Dandelions in full bloom. Prairie Phlox, Golden Alexanders just opening yesterday.... Dogwoods around the bend!

    6/2 Gray Dogwood just started blooming, my bee's don't seem to like it. Prairie Rose (Rosa arkansana var. suffulta) started 6/2, bee's are ignoring it. Mutiflora rose bloom ending, (Started 5/27) bee's also aren't attracted to it.
    Creeping charlie (Glechoma hederacea) still blooming strong, my bees are all over it. Dutch clover (started 5/21) and Red clover (started 5/27) still in full bloom. Sulphur Cinquefoil (Potentilla recta L.) just starting. Yellow sweet clover (Melilotus officinalis) just starting to open on 6/3.

    Seeing a very small amount of yellow clover starting to bloom along I-94 around the Roberts/Hudson area.
