The regular maples/elms are largely finished.
There were 2-3 days of maple use after my last post.

Box Elder is blooming all over. Lots of it here.
Daffodils and other similar spring flowers are ON, but unsure how significant (compared to the trees).

For sure, there is plenty of multi-varietal pollen intake.

    Box Elder is still ON.
    Willows are still ON.
Dandelions are ON as of yesterday - on the warm road-sides and building sides.
Variety of ornamental spring flowers are ON.
Fruit trees are just about to explode, but....

The bad news - we have up to 9 inches of snow tomorrow.
No-fly weather through the end of April.

Near my location there is massive Norway Maple bloom all over the city (somehow introduced Norway Maple gets overlooked by the talks of native maples).

The bad news again - the weather cancels it out.
Maybe the weekend will get better.

Fruit trees are about mid-bloom (apple/pear).
    Stone fruits are done.
    Dandelion is still ON.
    Dutch clover is starting up.

Due to consistent cold & rain, none of the above matter much so far.

Pretty much everything is done here; dandelion was largely wasted due to the weather.
Entering the early summer dearth, until maybe locust in a couple of weeks.
Dutch clover never started yet due to cold rain non-stop.
    Very crappy spring for nectar.

Honeysuckle is blooming all over, but not really a big factor.

    Black Locust is ON.
    Dutch/Pink/Red clovers are ON.
Dandelion is still on in some spots.

PS: I was wrong about the early summer dearth - not yet (if at all); something is always going.

    Central WI

Black and Summer locus are done as of end of last week.
Basswood is NOT on here in Central WI...maybe around the 4th of July would be the guess.

First hay has been cut and harvested allowing more clover to bloom...

Wild mustards/ yellow rocketcress are also blooming

..some alfalfa is starting to bloom but most will be cut soon as farmers don't let the bloom on very long.

    White sweet clover is ON.
Basswood, Yellow sweet clover, thistles, you name it - everything is ON.

So now is the best time of the summer here for about a month to go - IF you have some strong bees to bring it in.

    (Central WI)
Basswood is done as of about Wednesday. was a good crop this year.
Nothing much else coming in....bees are at a standstill and many hives started washboarding.....big storm came in on Saturday...supposed to heat up again this week so maybe clover will pick back up.
