    4/23

    Locust Tree

Blooms strings filled out and pearly white.
Most of the of the blooms have not opened for bees to enter.
Bees are trying to work it.

Update again in a day or so.

    4/23

    Wild Cherry

Still in major bloom. Bees may be working it hard but I can't get close enough to the trees to see as these trees are very tall.

It seems early. It may take a few more days for there to be enough in bloom to matter. We have a moderately wet, humid season. You never know about sourwood but this may be the year !

Noticed they have started blooming recently

    Chickweed
    Bittercress

Haven't seen the bees on them but they are bringing in mainly a light yellow pollen but one colony is bringing in orange pollen.

Middle TN - We've just had a week of springlike weather - noticed a few trees with open blooms today - 70 degrees and sunny.

    Crocus - just starting
    Daffodil - just starting
    Forsythia - just starting
    Winter Honeysuckle - just starting

Bees here at home are heavily bringing in the pollen.
Out on a farm I have a apiary and don't see anything blooming and almost no pollen coming in.
