While abundant for a while now, bee are just starting on clover. Must have been something else more attractive until now. Blackberry, black locust, tulip poplar maybe?
Same in loudon. I pulled three med supers completely filled and capped last week of black locust only in the last 3 days have I seen bees on my clover. There must be something else also blooming cause bees are boiling out going into the woods
Red trumpet vine , mimosas and the bees are starting to work the white clover a lot more I seen bees working red trumpet vine hard tho in after noon 6/18/2018 sevier county
Yes they are in full bloom here in East Tennessee. I was discouraged with the rain and cold on Saturday but we just had two beautiful work days for the bees on Sunday and Monday.
Autumn Olive is in full bloom (been that way for a week).
Clover is starting to cover the ground.
Poplar trees look like they have oranges hanging off of them.
