Hey, skidmld. Thanks for posting. I'm about 200 miles north of you in Missouri and our locusts shouldn't start to bloom here for about 3-4 weeks, but I'm always looking at the bloom dates posted under Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Kentucky, and sometimes Iowa since our blooms aren't usually too far off from each other.

I'm not sure if you'll find this useful, but I'm trying to build a quick reference showing when major honey bee flowers start blooming here in our region. Wildflower Bloom Times

Your posts on here help provide me with a sanity check for the info I've got on the website, so I just wanted to drop in and let you know that at least one person appreciates you taking the time.

Thanks Bee Arthur. The locusts seem to be early this year, they are in full bloom in my area now, but I haven't see a single bee on them. I will look at your link. Thanks again

Yeah, generally speaking, the warm winter led to a lot of things blooming about a week earlier than normal here this year. But then once April came it got so cool/cold that it's largely kept the bees from taking advantage of the flowers. Hopefully everything gets back in sync here in the next couple weeks.
