They haven't opened yet, but the buds have broken a little and I expect the pear and wild plums to bloom on the next sunny day.

The plums and some other fruit trees were blooming inside the city of Lincoln Nebraska on March 30th. Dandelions blooming in Greenwood yesterday (April 9th). Still no dandelions or fruit trees at my house in the country (just outside of both cities) yet. But looks like the next sunny day they will.

Saw early fruit trees (some ornamentals that I don't recognize and some wild plums) blooming near Omaha in the country yesterday (April 12). None out by my house yet but they looked on the verge yesterday. I'll see when I get home tonight.

April 13th the early fruit trees (redbud, wild plum, choke cherries) all bloomed today in the country around Greenwood.

April 14th Tulip poplars.

Still no pears or apples yet.

Drove out to an apple orchard to check. A couple of trees blooming. A few more that look like they will bloom soon. The rest look like it will be a few days including the one in my yard. April 15th.
