Forthysias blooming, Bradford pear, and dandelions starting to bloom out in the aviary too. Lots of other trees blooming as well, like crab apple and others I couldn't identify.

Here's what I've noted down for this month
    Forsythia - 03/04
    Peach - 03/12
    Flowering Quince - 03/12
    Wild Plum - 03/18
    Pear - 03/26
    Pie cherries - 03/26
I've noticed several redbud seem to be blooming but my transplants from last year are still on the verge and the few frigid night time Temps lately aren't helping.

Everything is 12 - 16 days ahead of my notes from last year.
I didn't get the date for the Bradford pears because I couldn't for the life of me remember what they were called until about a week ago.

We had hyacinth bloom on about 29 March. The bees are all over the purple ones, but mostly ignore the white ones.

Black oaks are blooming. Still not seeing much on the white oaks.

Sugar maples are starting to bloom and I saw bees on them when I was looking up at them today with binoculars. Which may partially explain why I had to split a hive today.

    STL area.

Our gray dogwood shrub started blooming in the last couple days and the honey bees are working it. I'm not 100% sure this is a gray dogwood, but that's the best I could come up with. One thing's for sure, insects and hummingbirds love it.

It seems like dandilion might make a small comeback. I saw about 5 or 6 new blooms in my yard today. I don't know my blooms so it is hard to report. They have been out forever but I saw bees working queen anns lace and white clover today. I have another weed that has leaves like the butterfly weed but a flower like red clover just starting to bloom (maby ironweed?). A tall weed with little yellow flowers.

My bees have been more active coming and going for the last few days.

Ps also a rose of sharon tree has started blooming and the bees hit it some.
