    Jewelweed- 7.12

    Winged Sumac- 7.19

    Partridge Pea- 7.27

    Goldenrod- 7.28 (This is an early variety which bloomed August 4th last year)- the main bloom is still a month off.

    Near Paducah- Climate Zone 7a:

    First day that bees have begun working boneset heavily.

    If the Fall blooming patterns hold, they should start working goldenrod next week, about a week ahead of where we were last year.

    Observed the first heavy activity on Goldenrod today (flat-top variety). The late blooming variety is just about to begin blooming in earnest.

    Boneset and Goldenrod are wrapping-up and White Aster and Snakeroot just starting. Unseasonably hot and dry here.

    Near Paducah- Climate Zone 7a:

    Hairy Bittercress blooming- three weeks ahead of last year.

    A few dandelions in bloom and lots of dirty yellow pollen incoming.
