Black locust in full bloom. Starting to see the first white dutch clover and yellow sweet clover. The bees seem to be ignoring the clovers so far in preference for locust. Ox-eye daisies in abundance along the roadsides.

Friday was the first pollen I saw going into the hive. By Saturday it was gangbusters. Siberian elms and maples. 2 1/2 weeks ahead of last year.

Elms blooming yesterday (3/1/20) and are right on time for me this year. No maples yet, but I did see TWO lone dandelions in the yard.

I saw quite a few dandelions today, but cold weather forecast (low 20's) for a few days coming up will end shorten those blooms. Also I have couple of apricot tree starting to bloom today....that means another year without fruit again .
