Question Cutting out queen cells on foundation?

Does anyone have any tricks for safely cutting out queen cells on foundation? I've tried a few times without success and am getting rid of foundation in all my hives but these were part of a nuc I bought recently. Thanks!

you could cut it with a razor blade or smash it with your hive tool or you could used it to make a split.

Sorry, if you use it to make a split, just take the whole frame.

I cut much bigger that need and then trim around it after I have it out.

Older dark wax foundation works better than new white wax and older cells ready to hatch are firmer also.

You are right about that.I have a bunch of swarm cells that are going to be ripe in just about 8 days and they are on new comb and snow white right now.Boy these are really going to be soft for cutting out.
