    Hey there- Welcome to the forum. I started my 1st hive in Jasper a few years ago at a family members property. I've since moved my bees to Birmingham.

    If you are interested in buying a Top-bar hive, I make and sell them in Birmingham here. I havn't put them on my website yet, but I make 2' and 4' hives if you are interested. Email me at [email protected] if you would like to talk more about it.

    Welcome to BeeSource from west Alabama! If you are good at woodworking, there are lots of plans available to make your top bar hive. Check out the build it yourself threads here on BeeSource. Several books available on building equipment also. There are also several people on the site who use top bar hives who can give you info on sources to buy from manufacturers like Kelley or individuals. Whichever way you go, good luck!
