Beeghost..........my handle on a popular archery site I used to go to was Forestghost, so I thought Beeghost would be cool. Nothing special.

Mine is the name of my apiary, "Dad & Son's Bees". If I had known that my son wouldn't have anymore interest in it than he does I would have come up with, "Dad's Bees" or maybe "Only the Lonely"

Cos when I joined Beesource was about the time the realisation set in I was no longer young.

Didn't know the name had connotations till it was too late, a certain breed of brand new beekeepers with brand new ideas (they thought) immediately saw me as an old codger set in the past and unable to change or comprehend anything new, and I took some flack based purely on my user name. Would have chosen a different one had I known about that.

Things have progressed though people seem more accepting of each others views now.
