Right! I know I have made very few posts but that is my philosophy in general by using my real name on the Internet. As an aside, I am trying to learn as much as I can and can do that better kinda soaking info in right now. As I learn more I'll post more but now I think I would be a tad dangerous.

BeeGora........It's shortened from the Irish/Gaelic saying, "Faith and Beggorah".....roughly translated as "Through Faith and By God"

Mine comes from the Germans during WWI. After the battle of Belleau Wood in France, the Germans likened the Marines to the dogs that guard the gates of hell...Teufel Hunden.
Having spent the greatest part of my adult life as a warrior it just seemed to fit.
I got started with bees as a help with PTSD, I don't like medications. I can't explain why, but there is something therapeutic about watching over them.

I used the name on other sites. It's rare to be the first Kevin Smith to register anywhere. I use the Chicago reference because when I'm traveling and talk to people and the subject of where you are from comes up, nobody knows where Melrose Park is but Chicago seems to be universally known.

I suffered (but not too much) with my last name too, Commandeur. I was General, demoted to Private, and little ditties on the radio when I was a child.

Michael is a pretty common name. In our accelerator control room there are often 4 (or more) of us. We speak of a "critical mass of Mikes" being necessary to keep things moving. There is a "-ster" suffix sometimes used in English (and even German). Think of "trickster" or "roadster" as examples. My surname Tiefenback is uncommon, and I'm "DerTiefster" in a very few locations. I think there aren't very many of me. "Der" is the German masculine form of the definite article.
