It's good to see articles like this because Chinese food products are a pet peeve of mine, my wife and I don't consume any Chinese food products. You cannot ever know what is in them or how they are produced. Also it is almost impossible to tell if they are from China in the first place because there is no labeling to specify country of origin. People who are crooked enough to add melamine to baby food to raise protein count and poison thousands of babies really won't care how many adults they're harming. So changing shipping information and hiding the true producers of honey laced with full spectrum antibiotics is not much of a stretch for them.

    450,000# is worth over $ 2 million.

    $4.50 + per # for bulk honey?

Chinese cat food killed our cat a few years back . I will never knowing buy imported Chinese food.

A few weeks ago I needed apple juice for a recipe. I went to our local small grocery and the had no organic apple juice so I started reading labels from the 4 kinds they did carry. In price order from cheapest to most expensive 3 of the 4 had Chinese juice! The 4th, and most expensive, was from about 2 hours down the road. Something is terribly wrong when we can import alleged apple juice halfway around the world and it's still substantially cheaper than semi-local non-organic juice!

The key words are "alleged apple juice". Alleged is always cheaper to produce than real, just like with HF(rice)S.
