Default First Graft! June 21, 2014

I have been wanting to try and graft for the last couple of years! I am so excited that these girls have made it to this point! I hope to have several return from their mating flights and add to my apiary.

VERY nice first try! In your second photo I think it is you looking AGOG like me looking AGOG at your cells.

Very good looking cells for the first time through. Get your mating NUC's ready and stocked, going to need them ready...

You caught the meaning of the photo exactly! ... Had to look up AGOG... next time use words that i know
I am very excited at this attempt and now have to decide what to do with all of these... was thinking i would get maybe half of those accepted...

I am glad to have extra cells since this queen came from a friend of mine and we wanted more of this line. I am going to try and get half or so mated and let him do the others.

I really like the way that Michael Palmer has his mating nucs set up. I plan on doing something like that, eventually. I guess that you have to start somewhere. I am trying to get everything in order.
