Well I fed them and tried to get them to build up their strength in order to winter but 2 or my 4 hives have run out of food and subsequently died. The other 2 are not well either.
Now I have a bunch frames with hundreds of bees that are dead. Most of them head first into the cells. I brushed as many of the dead ones off of the frames as possible but I still have all the dead ones in the cells.
Question - How can I clean all these bees out? Can I vacuum them out or do I need to take a pair of tweezers and pull them out one at a time?
I am sad that I have lost them but I would like to be able to salvage the frames for next season....
