Big Grin do bees eat royal jelly from queen cells

Hi all, i had a queen cell a week ago with jelly and i checked it the other day and it was missing the royal jelly that was in it. is this normal?

p.s. i am not worried about it, i just want to keep notes on the reason why it's missing

They'll sometimes start q-cells and then tear them down again. Normal. Russians are extremely prolific q-cell builders and seem to enjoy building them and tearing them down again, often dozens of cells at a time. Maybe they know how confusing this is for hive management and are just having fun with the beek!
