I didn't end up getting the breeder from vpqueens BUT Adam was very generous with his time explaining to me some dynamics of maintaining genetic diversity, VSH, his selection pool, and some of his customers' strategies for using breeders.
I took a queen rearing class last year, and one of the contacts Adam gave me was actually the instructor of the class, so I'm going to get some cells/virgins from him...
That instructor's breeder queen from vp hasn't had any treatments in over two years and is still laying like a first-year queen. Can't wait to get some cells!
