Default can nosema wooden ware be scraped down and reused?

I am removing old comb, but do I need to pitch hives and wood frames?
they have a red or rust color, making me think it is nosema.
Hives were somewhat productive, not exceptional.

I don't have high tech radiation or want to deal with chemical fumes, as a sterilization.

I read you only need to burn AFB disease equipment frames and hive bodies.

How to treat DWV equipment as well as Nosema equipment

Just clean off any excess bee feces and reuse them. Clean with bleach water if you want to be real anal about it. Nosema is pretty rare in FL because the bees are not cooped up in the hive all winter and can fly to get rid of waste products. I can't remember ever having seen a case of nosema.

There seems to be some that suggest that N.ceranae is so much different in symptoms from the old N. apis that it is going undiagnosed. Have not read about Florida in particular but thought it was found in ~60% of hives country wide.

We treat them with 80% acedetic acid on rags with the hive sealed for 7 days

I read this also. What I read said that nosema cerana evolved in a warm climate and thankfully does not have resistance to freezing. Very good news for northern beeks. Especially if you have dead outs that your certain died from nosema cerana over winter. So you are free reuse the equipment and stores without worry.
