Default Iron cleats for garden hives, testing the waters

I'm contemplating making and selling hand forged, decorative cleats to decorate (and help lift) garden hives. I see this as a good use of my short bits from other blacksmith things that I make. I will be able to do custom lengths and decorative designs other than the ones pictured here. I'm thinking $10 to $20 range each, $10 if it is a design I have or very simple with some quantity threshold, $ 15 - $20 and up for more custom orders. Not looking to go into production.
    Any thoughts on this?

    I like them!

Maybe you could build custom gates/lattice? to keep critters out.
I know they would be expensive ( not in my future) .
They would look awesome as a centerpiece for a higher end garden

I'm sure there are a number of hobby beekeepers that would benifit from your talents but it seems you could make more money in other custom products. ya never know unless you try. good luck

Nice Idea, I will work on it.

I have and do make larger stuff, and yes they cost a lot, just looking for some way to use left over bits and provide an affordable bit of fun for the hives.
