    Default I'm on FIRE!!

Please refer to me as Butter for now on, cause I am on a ROLL!! 2nd trap success in 2 days. I didnít know if they would move into this nuc or not. But I guess if you have some drawn comb and some lemmon grass oil they will move into just about anything. Not sure if they are plan ole Italians or not, but they have a real pretty color to them. If anybody wants to copy the quality craftsmanship of the nuc. You have my permission.

Should I wait 2 weeks or so to move them to 10 frame equipment?

p.s. In the first pic. Doesn't Pablo look pretty fired up?

Everthing is bigger in Texas. Our bees need big communication holes.

I am just as suprised as you are on that quality nuc I built.

If it was up to me I would give Pablo a raise. I would give myself one too while I was at it.

Spring 1978. Wet year in a cow town, so many swarms no boxes even though we're cutting them. Combining big swarms with little ones, etc. In the height of it all I got a call for eight swarms in one back yard. This I gotta see. How big? Like a basketball. OK I'm coming.
Old timers from dust bowl days had their back yard full of box hives. I mean plywood no frames size according to size of swarm. Family fruit orchard. Swarms everywhere. I had burlap sacks, shook em in & hauled em off.
Now Clovis is a BOUTIQUE COW TOWN ALL BUCKLE NO CATTLE. They don't care much for bees or bee keepers.
