    Default all honey, no brood-help

I have a hive that has two full deeps of honey. Both boxes and the super are stuffed full of bees. Very active, large hive. The queen has no place to lay and I don't know what steps to take to get this hive back in sync. No eggs, larva, capped, just full of honey. Do I pull frames and replace with foundation? Replace frames with bare comb? There were a few empty swarm cells. Thanks

from what i understand you can extract some of the honey and put the frames right back in to give her a place to lay

I have a couple nucs that i could give a few frames of honey. I'd rather not fire up the extractor for a couple frames. Are you having some rough weather lately? I remember hearing something from your area.
