  1. Re: Inspite of my help my bees are doing well so how do you

My wife said something like that. If old married guys of 30 + years would listen to their wives and follow directions they would do a lot better.

I feel like we are just like "old dogs that...

    Which do you use?

I have the plastic ones now but seems the bees are doing their best to fill in the spaces.

What is the best way to clean the plastic excluders?
  4. Re: wax foundation falling apart in the extractor

  9. Re: For storing used boxes would cedar ball work as good as Moth balls?

A rose in any other form.

I have the correct type but wondered where the fumes go when placed in a closed container. Sounds like it is not a problem.

Something to do in the morning.

  11. Re: For storing used boxes would cedar ball work as good as Moth balls?

I am just storing 5 boxes that the bees have cleaned out pretty well. Now they are in large clear plastic bags that are closed up so it sounds like a very small amt of moth crystals might do the...

Will the above work for warm...
  15. Re: How to store pulled Supers for the winter in warmer climates.

What about cedar chips? If you put moth ball in the closet and people have a cedar closet to keep the moths out would they work for stored pulled honey frames and boxes?
  16. How to store pulled Supers for the winter in warmer climates.

I am cleaning up things and hear that Moth Balls are the best thing to use if you do not have a freezer.

How do you do it and how do you get rid of the smell in the spring if you use moth balls.
