    Always best to requeen when bees are healthy and strong. Just remember Russian queen have much lower acceptance rates in non-Russian hives. Leave them caged much longer that usual.

    I use Advantech for bottoms with 1 coat of primer and two coats of paint. Holds up great. I use this on singles and 4 ways. My commercial friends use PT bottoms and had no issues painter or not.
