    Re: Muth jar gift boxes

    Price?
We sell the 12-ounce bears for $5 each all year which is $6.66/pound if you work it out.
This means the two pounds of honey is worth around $13-something.
Looks like we can sell the boxes...

    Muth jar gift boxes

This year we decided to give honey as gifts like last year but this year take it up a notch.
We bought the one-pound muth jars and the gift boxes to go with them.

    Re: Trying Something Different

    No.
When you put new foundation between two frames of honey...the bees will draw out the already drawn frames extra fat before they begin to do the new foundation. Put new foundation between two...

One day we found a jar of ??? in the fridge.

Re: Half dose of MAQS ?

When I noticed a dose was a dose, either you treat with two strips or you treat with one followed by a second one 14 days later, I decided to just hit them with the full treatment.

Re: How to separate Propolis/ wax scrapings

    This may help.

The wax you are getting from hive maintenance should be re-used in hive maintenance.

  24. Re: Insecure re: moisture build-up prevention for winter

My winter vent setup is to put a 1.5" shim on top that has a .75" hole bored in it.

If the bees didn't like it they'd...
