Re: Honeybee Brood in All Stages

Thought everyone might look me like to see an update. Since this queen has been so elusive weíve gone ahead and marked her.

    Honeybee Brood in All Stages

Just had to share that one of my hives, which I started filming weekly late this spring, is finally queen right! Let me know if there's anything you'd like to know or see further.

    Re: Spacing honey frames

Iíve been trying this out this year (7 frames in an 8 frame box). Itís been working out pretty well so far. Not all the frames are even and there is some additional burr comb but itís looking like...

Re: Queen problems. Can't figure it out

Harley's method sounds like a good plan of action.

I've had them be perfectly fine with a drone laying queen as well. I ended up pinching that queen and shaking out the hive as they'd dwindled...

Re: Upstate New York "winter is coming"

Re: Beekeeping, there's an app for that?

Yes with the "one go... equal results" and possibly in the future with pollination.

It's also a common complaint I've heard about these apps from others. individual inspections seem not as common...

Re: Beekeeping, there's an app for that?

Bulk inspections by yard and ability to export or print history bulk move hives to other yards
  13. Re: bt? correct ratio? I'm mixing only 1/2 gallon

Re: -40 f windchill in central NY

Had wind chill warning between -25 to -40 for the past 4 days. Figure all the snow burying them should provide some insulation.
