    I've only seen QE's offered to fit 8,10 hives and 5 frame nucs. Never heard of a "roll" of QE material.

    It can get hectic, but it works. I rarely need to find a queen, just evidence that sheís alive and laying well

    Where Iím located in SC, the nectar flow dies right around 06/01 so now is a great time to pull brood for splits as there is not a nurse or emerging bee thatís going to be a nectar/pollen gatherer...

    I always take the queen. The old hive has plenty of resources to raise another. That way the old hive has a new queen. Iíll see how the ďoldĒ queen in the new split does and if I donít like her,...

    Almond honey is absolutely beautiful! Crystal clear but tastes terrible! Imagine drinking almond abstract, you get the idea. First time I tasted it, I spit it out and said never again!
