    LOL.....my comment was about extracting mouse urine laden honey for human consumption....I didn't comment on why there are no bees.....to little information to offer an opinion on that.

    Just an FYI...

    Upper Midwest means PA, OH,MI, IN, IL, IA, MN, WI, SD, ND, MT, NE.......I'd also throw Canada in here as we have similar winters.

    With a candy board, they survived. The hive was weak in numbers come spring and took awhile to recover. I requeened in June and they made a bit of honey.

    last year on a 10 below zero day, I used my digital BBQ thermometer. I recorded the in box temp. 90F

    EZ Vap Silicone caps

    Anyone know where I can purchase more of the silicone caps for the EZ Vap? Mice found mine in the garage and decided they were edible.
    Not to mention it doesn't hurt to have a few more for treating...

    Black and Summer locus are done as of end of last week.
    Basswood is NOT on here in Central WI...maybe around the 4th of July would be the guess.
