It was told to me by an old wise bee keeper to use piano wire. I don't have that handy but it got me to thinking some 20lb test fishing line (or heavier?) MIGHT work.

Heat gun. All I ever use. If wax is old and tough hit with heat gun, then take an ordinary kitchen fork and take long scratch through length of frame. Works just fine. Only thing, my gun gets sticky.

Mine is the 9 frame model. It's working very well now. I will look up that number. Excellent idea.

You can almost get the cover off. There is a screw that is at a bad angle, otherwise the cover...

I ripped into it.. one side the brush came out easily. Other side it's stuck in there. Question.. any tips to pull out the stuck brush without destroying anything? Also. Once out how to tell it's in...
