    All i see are headaches from the silicone. If any thing use some caulk on the end grain of the finger joints. And good glue when you make them.

    I a lot of time paint boxes in brown and green tones. A privacy fence worked to shield the hives.

    I started to make split bottom boards. I use Plumler tape to hold them on to the bottom deep box. That way I can have both worlds.

    Commercial beekeepers do not screen the front of hives. The only time I have is when I did cut outs with my van. Ratchet strap them up so they donít come apart. Load after dark, and go. Strap them...

    Patncin I am getting a Maxant cheaper than that number. Having it customize so I can melt wax and clean sum gum in it to. No bottling valve but have a spare one.

    A old deep box. Some old foundation frames. Lid and a bottom board. With a small entrance. About as cheep as you can get. It should be equipment that you already own.

    I donít like the plans in general. The idea yes. I use for the ends and and bottom real wood. And 3/8 or 1/2 plywood for the sides. Thinking of doing some lids out of cement board. This year.
